Before I was a photographer, I was a middle school art teacher, learning how to navigate the beautiful chaos of a classroom with patience, creativity, and heart. Now, as a mom of two young children, that same calm and steady presence carries into every session I photograph. Connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds has always come naturally to me, and it’s something my clients feel the moment we begin. I understand the nerves that can come with being in front of the camera because I’ve always preferred being behind it myself, but it’s my joy and purpose to help you feel at ease and to highlight the beauty in every moment. Time moves quickly, and nothing lasts forever, but preserving a fleeting season through honest, heartfelt imagery still gives me butterflies every single time.
